This place is super tasty! It's our first time eating here, but we will definitely be back. The staff was very friendly, proactive, and interactive. They helped us pick menus items and were patient with our many questions. We ordered to go. The wait was a little long since they made everything fresh, so bear that in mind if you plan to do take out.
This place has great Mediterranean food. The gyro is always solid and the base hummus is tasty. The people and service are always friendly and accommodating. Price and portions are amazing. Always end up with more than I can eat in one sitting.
Excellent food and superb service!! Small town atmosphere and such friendly personable service. Early on as I was becoming more familiar with the dishes I wasn't acquainted with, they really treated me with patience and respect...and was very detailed to make sure I became very informed of each dish! Can't say enough good things... except you should definitely try Phoenicia Cafe you won't be disappointed!! My new favorite restaurant, been here a few times before I made this review!! Everything is YUMMY
I've ordered from here so many times because the food is absolutely amazing! I've never had a bad meal. The customer service has always been amazing even for pick up orders. Today however was the first time I ate in the restaurant and it was absolutely top notch customer service! The staff was absolutely amazing and so sweet with my son! She honestly made us feel like family! I've always loved this place for the food but now I love it so much more! Thank you for the lovely experience! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
My husband and I come here at least once a week. We LOVE this place. This is by far my favorite Middle Eastern restaurant. Our go-to order: 1lb of gyro meat, 1lb of chicken shawarma meat, a fattoosh salad, and their fresh baked pita. We make little sandwiches! We take the leftover meats home and have it for leftovers throughout the week for lunches. My husband LOVES their new homemade barbecue sauce with the chicken shawarma, perfectly balanced. I love that I know they use quality ingredients, and I don't feel gross after eating there. My husband and I have sensitive stomachs, and we're picky where we eat out to - we never have any stomach issues eating here, so this is a regular restaurant for us. And don't sleep on their baklava!! All is so good, but my favorite is the pistachio. They also have custom fresh squeezed juices!!! The staff is wonderfully kind and spirited. They put their heart and soul into the food and service, and it shows because the food is SO DARN GREAT!!
The food is very good, big portions. The service is also really good. I can't believe I drove by here so many times and this is the first time I've been here. My son loves it. I will be back.
Our neighbors recently introduced us to Phoenicia Cafe, and it has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants!! The space itself is small, but there is a variety of seating inside, as well as a few small tables outside. Service has been excellent both times we have dined in. We started with the hummus and pita for an appetizer - it's so yummy!! We usually end up taking some home with us. The small portion is definitely enough for 2-4 people. For this trip, we dined in on a Saturday evening. My husband and I split the Greek fries - gyro meat, fries, onions, tomatoes, feta, and tzatziki. They are AMAZING. We love them. It was plenty of enough food for us to split. We did, of course, buy some baklava for us to take home too!! I'm not sure if I'll try something new on the menu next time we come in, or if I'll stick with the Greek fries because of how much I love them!!
Visited this place last year... and completely forgot about the name. The service is amazing! Ambience is fun and food is just outstanding. We got done from the gym and wanted to have protein rich food. Given this is closer to the gym , we recalled how amazing the last experience was and visited it again! They now have fresh juices made in house which is PERFECT! The Lebene and hummus are just spot on and so was the speciality dish - Quizi. The meat of the lamb shank was perfect tender and juicy and fell off the bone leaving a mother watering moment! The lebene and lamb stole the show! Don't forget to try their speciality grape soda for that flavor enhancement! The juice took us by surprise and was perfect for after gym meal! I will def look forward to visiting here more!
Yes yes yes yes yes yes and yes. Small dining room, great staff, amazing food. Everything reheats well, because you will have left overs! Can't say enough good things about this place
Phoenicia derived from: The name Phoenicia comes from the Greek word phoinix, which may have referred to the color purple-red or to the Phoenicians' production of a highly valued purple dye. I walked in and was promptly greeted, to-go, go to the counter. If you're eating there, just pick up a table. Everyone was happy, excited, and most importantly, welcoming! Great start! When you walk in, it's a small spot, clean with about 15 tables. Sylvia and her husband run Phoenicia Cafe small little spot for 20 years! Did you know that? They are nailing the Mediterranean flavor profile! They just added a Pita machine to make them fresh! Using a Mediterranean spice, I believe it is called Za'arta (I could be worng) on one Pita sample, and the other one was Pita with cheesy deliciousness on top. I went with the beef shawarma and did not disappoint in any way, shape, or form! In-house made beef, marinated just right, house made hummus, house made Pita bread, lettuce, tomato's, onions, and tahini. Bite by bite, each one oozing a blend of flavors that will make your taste buds go bonkers! I wish I had ordered more Pita bread to pick up all the extra that busted out of the Pita! Check in on their Yelp page to see if they have a deal (may be expired, 50% off second item you buy) and if it is expired, who gives to 2 bleeps! They are well worth every dollar spent!! I unfortunately did not try the Baklava... next time! , Sas efcharistó (thank you in Greek) Paul
